The inside of this home is even more beautiful than the outside. After a long day of driving, we found this B & B to be more than comfortable. The hostess not only showed us a beautiful room for our stay, but she also pointed out the library and the TV room where we could also relax. The home is updated and elaborate in its decor. The hostess also provided us with recommendations to nearby restaurants in Castlebar, and we found the dinner food to be delicious. The following morning, breakfast was made to order and was served in a formal dining room setting on china. Upon our departure, the hostess recommended a stop along the way to view a Famine Museum in Stokestown. We appreciated her hospitality and kindnesses during our stay. We would recommend this residence to future travelers in Ireland.
Luxurious accommodation. Charming host. Difficult to imagine a better place to stay. We ran out of superlatives!
Our Family visited this delightful country home in September this year. This is one of Irelelands true hidden gems! The standard is exceptional and easily surpasses most of the 5 star hotels we have stayed at over the years. The proprietors are warm, friendly, and excellent hosts. Could'nt fault a thing, and hope to visit again in the near future.
